Richa is an enterprising engineer with 15+ of global experience in executing the development of a wide range of projects from inception to implementation in a diverse industry ecosystem. She has contributed to the growth of organizations such as the Institute for Sustainability (AIChE), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Project Management Institute PMI-Delaware and The Dunn Group.

As an external consultant to The Dunn Group, she conducted forecasting and market research of the Pediatric OTC products segment and re-launch of recalled products of J&J and Novartis. She also provided market research inputs on the launch of new dosages of both OTC and prescription drugs by monitoring competitor product launch, dosage and packaging variants.

 

In the roles of Research Scientist and Process Engineer at Sun Pharma, Richa led development of wide therapeutics from lab to launch scale for the US and rest of the world markets. She collaborated with cross functional teams in Chemical Research, Technology Development, and Manufacturing departments for tech transfer and plant scale up. She monitored the time-bound deliverables of active pharmaceutical ingredients, and implemented novel techniques and methods to improve the process efficiency of complex APIs and new chemical activities. Using a sustainable approach and new technologies, Richa recommended appropriate equipment selection, and suggested cost-effective techniques to reduce the consumption of expensive raw materials to significant amounts for commercial multistep scale up of complex drugs. She also established the tech transfer scale up procedures, generated scale up data and improved the quality and yield of the final product by simulating the plant like conditions on auto robotic equipment.
